According to Ruth, Dr. Oburu flew to Dubai for a 3-day visit to rest following a hectic political period.
Sources confirmed some Kenyans on social media claimed Dr. Oburu was receiving medical treatment in Dubai, remarks Ruth dismissed, affirming the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader is well.
Her remarks drew attention from Kenyans on social media, who urged the Odinga family to tell the truth, citing alleged lies about the former Prime Minister's health.
Ajuok Siala who reacted to this reports on Facebook said :"I hope they are telling us the truth. We don't want to have another heartache".
Ruth also urged ODM party members to stop with the "Tutam" chants, stating ODM is an independent party despite being in a broad-based government.
Dr. Oburu Oginga said they would remain in government, as former Prime Minister Raila Odinga left them in it.
