Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament, Kabando wa Kabando, has expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts by President William Ruto's critics to ensure he serves for only one term.
Kabando has said he believes that the Head of State will be sent home in 2027, adding that for this reason, there is need for the President to start preparing Kenyans for life after his leadership.
He has proposed that houses built through Ruto's affordable housing program be handed over to county governments, as a way of repaying citizens for what he claims is misuse of their taxes.
He has further stressed on the need for an audit, to find out whether the amount stated by the government was the actual cost of the project and detect theft if there was any.
"The 'affordable' houses already built via illegal levy should be handed over to respective county governments for low-cost leasing," he says in a post on X.
