Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, has once again set the political stage on fire with a daring statement about the 2027 presidential race.

The outspoken lawmaker announced that he is confident of clinching the presidency if he teams up with Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro as his running mate.

According to Babu, their partnership would be so powerful that they would not even need campaign agents to secure victory.

“We can win the presidency without agents if I run with Ndindi Nyoro,” he declared, attracting both excitement and disbelief among Kenyans.

The bold statement has divided public opinion. A section of Kenyans believe that the duo could breathe new life into the country’s politics.

“I would not hesitate to vote for them if they make the decision to run,” said Sikuku, a supporter who views the pair as a fresh alternative to traditional political figures.

Others, however, doubt whether such a partnership could work. Critics argue that Babu, known for his strong opposition stance, and Ndindi, a loyal supporter of President William Ruto, belong to two very different political worlds.

Mabinda, a skeptical voter, asked, “Why Ndindi as your deputy?” pointing to their sharp ideological differences.

The idea of winning without campaign agents has also left many Kenyans questioning Babu’s strategy.

In Kenya’s competitive political environment, agents play a major role in mobilizing voters, monitoring elections, and protecting votes.

Political analysts say that ignoring this structure could make it harder for Babu to reach rural voters and safeguard results.

Still, some Kenyans see potential in the unlikely alliance. Felix Nyabicha, a supporter of the idea, said, “I swear to vote for Babu+Nyoro.

Anything less, I’d rather stick with Ruto.” His statement reflects the passion of those who see the partnership as a serious challenge to the current political establishment.

Yet others remain unconvinced. “If you get one million votes, then you will have tried,” commented Kevin, expressing doubts about the duo’s chances of success.
