Matiang’i’s Body Language After Coming Face To Face With Gachagua After Days Of Frosty Political Relationship

After days of trading political barbs amid claims and counter claims of being " state project", former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and ex-interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i on Friday came face to face during the Wiper Patriotic Front National Delegates Convention.

The convention saw Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka declare his State House bid ahead of the 2027 general election.

It is the first time that Dr Matiang'i and Gachagua have shared podium after days a political cold war.

The Gachagua camp has been accusing Dr Matiang'i of allegedly being a " Ruto project" in the 2027 State House race.

This has not gone well with the Matiang'i camp, accusing the former DP of allegedly dividing the opposition in its quest to take over power from President come 2027 general election.
