"Ruto's Govt Is Smart" Gachagua Ally Reveals Secret Card That'll Get Ruto Offguard In 2027 Polls

The pressure has been mounting against united opposition to announce their preferred presidential candidate ahead of 2027 general elections.

Opposition that is made up of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, George Natembeya, Martha Karua, former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i among others, have faced a huge task to settle on one candidate to face president.

As the pressure continues, James Gakuya, MP, Embakasi North has downplayed any possiblity of the opposition making bare their plans for next election.

Speaking on Sunday, the ally of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua noted that the opposition leaders have a secret card and they can't reveal it now, noting that they are dealing with craft Ruto's regime.

"We can’t reveal our cards just yet — we’re dealing with a very crafty regime. The plan is inevitable: we’ll field one candidate to remove Ruto from office, but not under pressure." he noted

In addition, he emphasized that the choice of the Flagbear will happen next year, which according to Mr Gakuya, will signal the end of President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza regime.

"It will happen at the tail end of 2026. The white smoke will rise, and the final whistle will be blown." said James Gakuya, MP Embakasi North.
