Despite defying all odds to defeat ODM boss Raila Odinga in the last elections, close associates within the Kenya Kwanza administration have reported that President William Ruto is not in good shape after using Uhuru Kenyatta's name to advance his politics in Mount Kenya.
"Ruto went around calling Uhuru Kenyatta a political hypocrite, con man, and deceitful. But what has he done differently in his regime? The problem isn’t Kenyans; it’s political hypocrites who seek votes while wearing sheep’s clothing." Said James Gakuya, MP of Embakasi North.
According to Gakuya, who is also a UDA MP, he noted that the Kenya Kwanza administration under President William Ruto has turned rogue and is using an iron fist to rule and silence the dissenting voices, especially from Gen Zs, activists, and human rights groups.
On his part, former Mwingi member of Parliament Joe Mutambu said the main agenda among Kenyans is to make Dr. Ruto a one-term president.
He said that, despite using populism to win the last elections, many Kenyans have realized that Dr. Ruto was not the right person many thought he would be.
